Considered the answer to all problems, alchemy was a widespread practice throughout the kingdom. People even used it in their homes for various purposes. When the cost became too high, the authorities tried several times to put an end to the use of alchemy, to no avail. In their attempt to remedy the problem, they only precipitated the crisis. Within days, the place had descended into absolute chaos, and infected monsters now roamed the blood-soaked streets. There was no hope of a cure.
Corvus is the kingdom's last hope. The fate of Hermes rests in his feathers. The truth lies deep within the memories Corvus has scattered across this unforgiving world, and only by bringing them all together can he save the kingdom. Alas, each time he tries to uncover the truth by delving back into his memories, new secrets emerge.
