Sherlock Holmes is the animated series of the masterpiece directed by Hayao Miyazaki and co-produced by TMS Entertainment and RAI, which first aired in 1984. The series was a huge success and remains a beloved classic in the world of Japanese animation to this day.
The soundtrack for the anime series was composed by Kentarô Haneda (well known for his work on the Space Adventure Cobra series and many others) and included the two signature songs performed by Da Capo. The soundtrack for the anime film was composed by Kunio Muramatsu, and also includes two songs performed by Haruko Kuwana.
