Description
Discover Promenade on Nintendo Switch!
Go on an adventure in a world full of secrets with the help of your friend, an octopus with multiple abilities. Explore, solve puzzles, go through dungeons, take part in races and much more in this game inspired by the best 3D platformers!
Promenade is a game that takes the progression structure of a collectathon (like Mario 64), a genre usually associated with 3D platforming. To progress, you will have to collect interchangeable collectibles like the moons in Mario Odyssey or the puzzle pieces in Banjo & Kazooie. In our case, these precious objects will be cog fragments (3 fragments constituting 1 whole cog). These whole cogs activate machines (doors, elevators, etc.) that will allow the player to unlock new worlds.
The player will not need to find all the cogs to finish the game. He can thus manage his own adventure and his own difficulty. Punctually during the adventure, puzzles will put the player's thinking to the test.

Will you be able to discover all the nooks and crannies and secrets of this wonderful world?
A mysterious treasure map? A puzzle piece that doesn't seem to go anywhere? A recipe to make without knowing the ingredients? It's up to you to observe, analyze and finally try to solve each of these puzzles that will allow you to find precious fragments of cogs.
Promenade is an invitation to explore and marvel at discovery. The game world is full of places to visit, each with their own atmosphere and color palette. Being built in a non-linear way, the game encourages exploration and rewards curiosity.
Will you be able to discover all the nooks and crannies of this wonderful world? At its core gameplay, Promenade plays like a 2D platformer. The character can run, jump, crouch, slide, etc. The octopus is attached to the Kid's back like a backpack. It can be thrown and will then behave like a boomerang. If the octopus encounters a small enemy or an object, it catches it and brings it back. It is then possible to move with the object in your hands and throw it.
This can be used in many ways: fighting, solving puzzles. The diversity will come largely from the varied properties of the objects that can be caught. In addition, when the player is in the air, if he jumps again, he leans on the object carried, which propels him into the air by giving him a sort of double jump.
