The 4LP box set was designed by the amazing art team at Tango Gameworks. The hard cover features Chai and 808, while the inner sleeves highlight Chai’s allies including Peppermint, Macaron, CNMN, and Korsica. The standard edition features discs in a traditional black colorway.

The box set includes 42 specially remastered tracks from the original soundtrack, including alternate boss fight tracks created for Streamer mode. Hi-Fi RUSH is a breath of fresh air, reminiscent of the early 2000s with its vibrant visuals and zany humor. The game combines rhythm and action game mechanics, and the entire environment of the Vandelay Technologies campus literally moves to the beat of the music.

Much like the protagonist Chai, music is at the heart of Hi-Fi RUSH. The game’s music team, comprised of Shuichi Kobori (The Glass Pyramids), Masatoshi Yanagi (REO), and John Johanas (Hi-Fi RUSH Game Director), pulled out all the stops to create a rock soundtrack with infectious energy. Huge riffs and propulsive drums played a vital role in maintaining the tension and excitement of the entire experience, and kept players focused on the beat.

And never has a game developer sung so sweetly and earnestly to his audience as Johanas does in the theme song "Secret Song (Making Things Is Hard)", crooning "please don't complain and enjoy, because at the end of the day, it's just a game".
