For the fourth Gears of War game, composers Steve Jablonsky (Gears of War 2 and 3) and Jacob Shea created a simmering, industrial soundscape of huge synthesizers, crunchy guitars, and stripped-down orchestral elements. Tightly structured, emotionally tense pieces provided the soundtrack to a story framed by Damon Baird and the military tribunal of Kilo Squad.
