You play as Meredith Weiss, who takes a break from her high-flying city career, visiting the lakeside town of her childhood for 2 weeks, to replace her father as a mailman.
During her stay, she meets a few familiar faces as well as many new people as she drives the mail truck through the scenic Oregon forests, stopping at beautifully detailed locations to deliver letters and packages and get to know the town's quirky residents.
At the end of the 2 weeks, she will have to decide whether to return to her life in the city or stay in Providence Oaks.
