All music has been remastered for vinyl and will be pressed on thick vinyl LPs. Disc 1 is transparent light blue and contains the entire 14-track soundtrack from the 2015 game Hard West. Disc 2 is transparent orange and contains 9 tracks selected from the Hard West 2 soundtrack. The LPs come in printed sleeves. The Hard West cover art is by Grzegorz Przybyś, while Division48 Studio created the cover art for Hard West 2.

With Hard West, Marcin Przybyłowicz (Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077) has set the mood for the series, using twisting guitar, pounding drum beats, lone trumpets, and various atmospheric elements. On several of his more eerie lines, snatches of piano, guitar, and violin emerge from the echoing fog to keep players on their toes, while maintaining the heightened mix of fantasy, horror, and Wild West aesthetics.

For Hard West 2, Jason Graves (Dead Space 1&2, Tomb Raider [2013], Dark Pictures Anthology) goes grittier, while still respecting the sonic universe of the original. With his spartan use of bass guitar, percussion, and creepy synths, Graves calls for a more primal, earthier sound, while continuing to layer the acoustic and electric guitars we associate with the dark side of the West.
