   Rune Factory 4 Special marks the return of the popular Story of Seasons spinoff series that combines farming and dungeon crawling, as the series debuts on Nintendo Switch with HD graphics, a new "Newlywed Mode" and additional cutscenes . In this standalone story, players choose to play as a hero or heroine who will encounter many potential suitors and other endearing locals. As a new prince or princess, you can fulfill your royal duties by issuing decrees that help the city prosper, or take a more rural approach by growing your own fruits and vegetables and helping the townspeople. If a dungeon crawl is on the day's agenda, you can craft or purchase a wide range of swords, spears, and staves in addition to magic to take on dangerous enemies. You can even recruit companions or friendly monsters who will help you during your travels.
