Quake 2 (Original Soundtrack) Vinyl - 2LP

Most of the soundtrack was created by Sascha Dikiciyan aka Sonic Mayhem - his first gaming project among an enviable list of credits. After attracting the attention of id Software with an unofficial Quake album (alongside production partner Dave Valencia), Sonic Mayhem and id Software developed Quake II's signature aggro-industrial metal sound, inspired in part by by Metallica. The deadly riffs, repeated over and over, push players forward into the city of Stroggs and beyond, with a trail of game in their wake. The track “Climb” by Jer Sypult completes the selection with its industrial groove.
