Stranger Oddworld is a mysterious bounty hunter, in relatively poor health, who refuses to use firearms.
Needing a very large amount of Moolah to pay for desperately needed surgery, Stranger decides to help the residents of the local town capture wanted outlaws and villains, before accept the ultimate hunt. Rather than a more traditional shooter using bullets and bombs, Stranger prefers to take a more "natural" approach to his ammo, using various creatures that he sends at his enemies with his crossbow.
