Ikai Nintendo Switch

Ikai embodies the spirit of the classic psychological horror genre with a helpless main character unable to attack evil creatures. However, it explores a new sense of horror by requiring the player to confront threats directly, without fleeing or attacking.

Every mechanic in the game is intended to elicit this feeling of helplessness and create a tense atmosphere. The slow, precise and natural movements used as a means of interaction resemble those of real life to promote immersion in the strange world of Ikai.
