● Erect palisades, expand structures and transform your gord by transforming a modest settlement into an impressive fortress. However, growing your gord won't be easy! Your people are constantly threatened by enemy tribes, horrible monsters, and mysterious powers that lurk in the surrounding forest.
● Gord's versatile quests will inspire you to venture beyond the walls of your village, either to prevent a plague from occurring or to deal with the personal problem of one of your subjects. The main story objectives will govern your journey, while side quests and random encounters will send you into the wild to hunt legendary creatures, uncover the secrets of the Ancients, or stem a terrible calamity. Expect the unexpected.
● You will have access to a wide range of scenario options. Try to achieve victory! Take the easy way out or prefer an impossible challenge: almost everything can be changed! Choose from numerous main objectives, select level size, raid intensity, game environment, type of opponents to face, starting resources and even weather conditions! Obviously don't forget the Horrors.
● A healthy population is the key to survival in Gord. Every aspect of your colonists' lives, whether it be illness, hunger or the death of their loved ones, can have an impact on the level of health of each subject. Monitor them closely, because when they reach a critical point, they will collapse or flee from your authority.
● Please the gods with your prayers and they may grant you access to their spellcasting abilities. Some incantations are offensive, others are defensive, but they will all help you on the battlefield. Hide areas from your opponents, control menacing creatures, or unleash unholy rage on all who dare oppose you.
● The Chronicle tells the story of Gord's universe where true Slavic legends and a dark, fantastic universe mix. Torn pages from the Chronicle are scattered throughout the game's landscapes and thus form an additional challenge to overcome. Collect as many pages as possible to understand the origin of the gods, ancient dissensions, and the mythical Whisperers.
