The year is 199X. A nuclear war has devastated New York City and the few survivors try to survive in the streets plagued by riots and crime. The city is controlled by gangs of criminals, who terrorize survivors and fight for dominance . Refusing to accept this life any longer, Billy and Jimmy Lee decide to rid their town of these gangs.

Experience the beginnings of the iconic Double Dragon brothers as they face new foes and familiar faces in this alternate history. In this new opus taking the form of a roguelite, each session is a new chance to dive into even more action. Incorporating a unique dynamic leveling system, the difficulty of missions will adapt depending on the order in which you play them.

Play as the famous brother duo Billy and Jimmy, Marian and Uncle Matin, or 9 other unlockable characters with unique moves and playstyles. Thanks to the 2-player local co-op mode, enjoy a quadruple dose of action with a friend as you rid the streets of vermin.
