Burkittsville, Maryland.
Apparently haunted by the souls of those who died in the fierce and deadly Civil War battle at South Mountain. The site of the infamous Which Hunts and alleged unexplained child murders. And the “fictional” home of Elly Kedward, better known as the Blair Witch.
Inspired by real events.
A tragic story about a man's fight to maintain his sanity and turn off the voices in his head. Or are we naive? Is it more than just schizophrenia? Under immense pressure in a terrifying and oppressive environment, Michael J. Goreng, an infamous zoologist and epidemiologist is trapped in a distorted version of his own home. His wife and daughter are in serious danger. He can barely see shadows and certain objects. He's in a room. He recognizes it. He's at his aunts' mansion in Burkittsville. But something has changed. He remembers his aunt's stories of wailing ghosts during the Civil War and stories of witches being burned on crosses. He is aware of the clock's second hand. This sounds like a warning. The door is locked with chains. Something is seriously wrong. Mike is looking for exits. There is nothing. He sees a bloody message carved into the wall: “She’s coming.” He woke up in a nightmare and has difficulty remembering his life so far. He knows he must escape. He must find his wife Julia and his daughter Anne. A loud laugh alerts him. But who is coming? The clock stops. Without understanding how, he knows he must flee. He knows something bad is coming. In his mind, he begins to wonder about the objects in this dark room.
A disturbing survival horror, inspired by escape game mechanics.
Escape the house while facing a mysterious paranormal threat, stalking you and your family. The pressure is intense as a clock in the lower corner ticks away. The clock stops. You must leave the room. RIGHT AWAY.
