Cult of the Lamb's composer and audio director, River Boy (Narayana Johnson), faced the challenge of reflecting both sides of the game: the security of the cult's base, where marimbas, mallets and others " small" sound instruments are integrated into laid-back lo-fi electronica tracks; and Dungeons, where heavily processed vocals and grinding synthesizer elements are layered over dense beats and distorted bass to create a darker occult energy.
